IMC offers scholarships to qualifying individuals seeking postsecondary education or occupational credentials (career pathways) at accredited Illinois institutions.

Postsecondary Scholarships

Targeted to: Two & four year colleges and vocational institutions
Funded by: Community Services Block Grant Program, Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity
Benefits: Tuition, school fees and books
Applicant Eligibility:
Is a migrant or seasonal farmworker, Hispanic, minority or a member of a farmworker, Hispanic or minority family
Is accepted by an Illinois two or four year college or vocational institution
Meets low income guidelines for family
Have a high school diploma or GED
Completes the scholarship application

Scholarships for Occupational Skills Training

Targeted to: Training programs at community colleges and vocational institutions that lead to licensing or credentialing in a specific occupation or career
Funded by: National Farmworker Jobs Program, U.S. Department of Labor
Benefits: Tuition, school fees and books, transportation assistance, training/work clothing and tools, job placement assistance
Applicant Eligibility:
Meets eligibility for National Farmworker Jobs Program
