IMC coordinates with Illinois workNet Centers (also called American Job Centers or One-Stop Career Centers) in Illinois’ Local Workforce Areas (LWA) funded under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.

Collaboration activities are outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between IMC and specific Illinois workNet centers.
MOUs are prepared annually and include:

co-enrollment of NFJP farmworker participants in career services and training at Illinois workNet Centers, also identified as American Job Centers

information sharing about the local migrant and seasonal farmworker (MSFW) community and its employment and training needs

orientation and cross training with Illinois workNet Centers and our other partners about IMC's National Farmworker Jobs Program (NFJP) training services and eligibility requirements for farmworkers

coordination of services delivery with Illinois workNet Centers to provide farmworkers with access to WIA Title I B and other core programs located at the Center

mutual referrals of individuals in need of services from IMC and/or Illinois workNet Centers and our other partners

IMC partners with these Illinois workNet Centers to provide farmworkers with access to WIOA Title I B One-Stop career services and training and to other partner programs located at the Comprehensive and Affiliate Illinois workNet Centers. IMC offers cross training about NFJP to One-Stop and partner staff.
