![]() The on the job training, or OJT, program matches eligible clients with potential employers. The employer is reimbursed for up to 50% of the wage costs of the new employee while in training. This enables the client to acquire specific occupational skills. OJT may last for up to 6 months and results in full time employment for the client.
For farmworkers with little non-agricultural work histories, OJT presents a valuable employment experience. IMC
