The Illinois Migrant Council is a  partner with the following  Local Workforce Investment Boards (LWIB)of the twenty-six Workforce Investment Areas (WIA)  in Illinois.

The IMC Executive Director or other IMC representative is a member of each of these LWIBs.  A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) describes the collaborative role of IMC and other partners in the local area workforce development system with the Illinois workNet Centers.
